I didn’t intend to do a 365 this year, and arguably this is not a 365 at all, but I started to miss the process of pressing the shutter button and playing with the results. It seems that without a firm commitment I am unlikely to pick up the cameras and actually take photographs unless cornered into doing so for some function, and I really don’t like shooting functions, I’m just terrible at saying no to friends.
So, at the halfway point in the year, I decided to finish off at least half of the year and see how well I manage. It (hopefully) will also nudge me into completing the 116 Photographs in 2016 scavenger hunt that I have been woefully neglectful of. So the photos on this page may end up being identical to those on the 116 page as well.
I have also decided to be kinder to myself in this half-challenge and if I have a photo from an earlier shoot that speaks to me for some reason, I will not hesitate to process and use it for a day it was not shot on….and I will feel no remorse 😉
So let’s see how it goes….
