After a two year hiatus from 365 projects, I’ve decided to do another. I miss the daily challenge of seeing the world a little more closely, thinking about the little things in front of me, and putting them in perspective.
Or maybe I’m just feeling masochistic.
Regardless, whichever it is, there will be days when I am happy with my images, and days that I hate everything that comes out of the camera. And there will be days that I put a lot of thought into something, and days that I just throw some random object on a table and try to take an interesting capture of it.
There will be crap photo days, and there will be repeats and copies of photos I’ve done in the past. It’s hard not to copy old images though, after all, I did three 365 projects in a row, that’s almost 1,100 consecutive postings.
Some days I just have nothing to give, and those are the hardest to find an interesting image in my head. But when I think about it, the last year that I did a 365 was perhaps the most difficult year I’ve encountered, and I still managed to finish. There is something about using the camera to disappear for a while…
But it’s all a learning experience, every single shot.
