I bought a new iPhone today, and wondered at the quality of the camera compared to my earlier one. I admit…I am impressed. Usually macro shots look great on the phone and like crap when they get to the higher quality and larger monitor of the computer.
But I admit to being impressed.
This is probably not a good thing as I’ve been last lately in not using my real cameras as much. It’s not so much about the cameras themselves, it’s just that life has felt rather heavy of late and things that usually bring me happiness have felt like a chore so the phone camera has stood in, a lot, recently.
But to get that sharp a shot off a phone at that close range and blown up.
Again…impressed.

And that old phrase “Don’t run with scissors” wormed into my brain and left em wondering…how many people have been hurt while running with scissors that we have a phrase? I realize the phrase denotes more than just actually running with scissors and it refers to being reckless or taking unnecessary risks. But the saying was an actual campaign marketed at children in the 50’s/60’s highlighting the dangers of being unprepared for potential emergencies….so….?
