We made an excursion to downtown Vancouver today, to the main library in the city. I have always liked the Roman Colliseum-esque architecture, though I know some don’t. A few years ago the tenants of the top two floors vacated and the space became a part of the library, for public access, and that includes a rooftop garden and deck space. We’d never visited that newly accessible space and, since I was picking up a book on hold, we decided to go check it out. Even on a rainy day it was an interesting view of the city and it seems like it would be a fabulous space to go read a book.
