It was one of those winter ays where the weather differed with where you chose to be. Down here, on the waterfront…at the end of the pier at the Quay, my eyes were watering as the chill wind blew across the water….but despite the nip to the air, I had sunshine.
Behind me, the mountains weren’t visible underneath the blanket of black clouds.
And ahead of me, downtown Vancouver was caught underneath a blanket of cloud while above was blue sky.
I do love this West Coast that I call home…if you don’t like the weather (as the saying goes) wait five minutes.
I would add…or change your position by a few kilometres….
