Bugged – Day 346

by The Philosophical Fish

One of the things I love about this time of year is all the Christmas markets. Two that I rarely miss are the Circle Craft Christmas Market….which we DID miss this year because we took off to the Island for a few days to just chill in a little studio suite in Maple Bay….and Make It Vancouver.

Circle Craft is the really big one and this was the first year that I think we didn’t attend in at least ten years…COVID notwithstanding. We have so many really cool little bits of art around our home from various artists across the country who converged on the Vancouver Trade and Convention centre for a few days every year, over Remembrance Day. It’s an amazing craft market filled with all sorts of shiny objects, funky gifts, cool clothes, and tasty treats. I wish I could remember the name of the artist who made these, but we couldn’t afford the one we really loved…a ginormous mosquito with blue and purple glass. It was north of $2000. These were far more affordable, not to mention easier to find a spot for.

Make It starts tomorrow out at the PNE grounds. We hardly need anything, but we always leave with some new little treasure.
