It was barely spitting when I left the house for a run after work.
The weather forecast this morning was rainy periods in the morning and drying up with sunny periods in the afternoon.
That forecast could not have been more backwards.
Someone int he weather office has meteorological dyslexia.
It was dry this morning, got sunny around noon, then poured cats and dogs in the early afternoon. My walk home from the hatchery was dry, so I changed into the running gear and headed out the door.
I didn’t intend to put a jacket or my hat on, but it was spitting a bit so I popped back in and grabbed them.
Thankfully.
Looking at the minimal precipitation I decided to not bother going upstairs to grab my waterproof socks though.
THAT was an error in judgement.
About halfway through the run, the heavens opened and it poured.
Like really poured.
Yuck.
I was soaked to the bone.
Towards the end I couldn’t be bothered to avoid the puddles that had formed anymore…small lakes in places.
What was the point, the water was literally squishing between my toes my feet were so wet.
That is all.
