It kind of boggles the mind that the green pepper cost one dollar, and the red one cost four dollars.
I mean, I get that the green pepper is unripe and therefore is ready for harvest with a lower energy input, and that the red pepper needs to be maintained longer to ripen and therefore needs more water, more care and attention, and more energy to maintain the greenhouse until it’s ripens … but four times the cost?
Ouch.
