Any mushroom that looks like this, I tend to call a Turkey Tail.
But I don’t know my mushrooms and I do know that there are other mushrooms shaped like this that are not true Turkey Tail mushrooms….and I also know that I have a few friends that do know their mushrooms so I assume that someone will correct me if I am totally off base (which I probably am).
Regardless, this one is growing on an old decaying cedar stump in the yard and the colour caught my eye on the weekend when I was cleaning up the garden.
The garden has its eyes on things…..
…and I still have soooo many photos from the cruise to finish going through….
