Portable Palette (Day 222)

by The Philosophical Fish

Not much of anything to say about today.

I picked up a new-to-me lens (Nikon 28-105mm) that dates from the days of film. It’s a sibling to my Nikkor 60mm macro lens, but with a mid-level zoom. It’s a nice little lens with good quality glass and a 1:2 zoom. Its size and mid-zoom makes it a nice live-on-the-camera lens for around the city use.

Gave it a little bit of test-time this afternoon and I’m happy with it….. particularly at the price. I think it’s probably the first time I’ve ever spent less than $175 on a ‘really’ good lens.

And then I played with paint after being inspired by someone yesterday (my paintings suck though, so not sharing).
