Prickly is strong, and beautiful.
I can live with that.
Acanthus mollis, commonly known as bear’s breeches, sea dock, bear’s foot plant, sea holly, gator plant, or oyster plant. I think it’s an amazing and incredibly striking plant and I am happy to have it in my garden. It never ceases to impress.
