I kinda failed at the outset of this 365.
Every year I try to start things off with a photo of cherry blossoms for my bestie, but this year…..nada. The late cold snap hammered my usual tree and there was nothing there when I went looking.
I was sad.
I know, deep down in her heart, my bestie was also sad…on some imperceptible level….I just know it….
So, although the beginning wasn’t up to snuff….I can head out of the year and the looming end of this 365 Day Photo Challenge with a photo of a bush starting to bloom in my yard.
Here’s thinking of you bestie. Who’s your friend 🙃
If you live in Vancouver, and plan your garden well, you can have something in bloom every month of the year, I just proved that…and it’s not even that far out of normal…this thing typically throws out some flowers in January 😊
