I took today off; I needed a break from endless meeting madness. I also haven’t run in a couple of weeks again. I was getting back into the groove, and then things were too hectic, and then the time changed, and weather kind of sucked lately … lots of excuses.
The fall colours seem to be at their brightest in the neighbourhood at the moment, and the gutters are filled with fallen leaves. There is another weather system coming in tonight; wind and heavy rains will probably strip a lot of the trees.
It was weirdly nice to get a 5km run in, particularly before the next weather system settled in, it was both pretty and much needed.
