Another little ride (281/365/2023)

by The Philosophical Fish

As with yesterday, when you get sunny skies and warm weather in October, and you have a couple of weeks left on the insurance, you drop everything and go riding. Yesterday we were up Mt. Baker, today we rode with Mt. Baker in the distance and headed along the coastline instead. The plan was down Chuckanut Drive, a late lunch in Edison at Terramar, then over to Colony Road, double back on Old Samish Lake Road, and then back home through Blaine.

And it was fabulous! It was another great weekend on the bikes, another 650km.

I just need one more decent ride and I’ll roll her over 35,000km and bring it up to a roughly 10,000km season. Absolutely amazing!

It was dark by the time we got home, but whatever, it was a beautiful evening for October and we were prepared for the cooler temperature.

Spectacular ride.
