Indeed, what a thought provoking question to have at the entryway to a condominium building.
I drove over to Lonsdale to track down a parcel that UPS decided to not leave at the door and instead send to a drop-off point I didn’t know existed.
While circling the block looking for a parking spot off the Main Street I passed a relatively new highrise and was taken by the large, lit, letters posing an interesting thing to think about.
I suppose the intent of it, in this spot, was probably along the lines of “Hey, cool! You bought a condo in a really amazing place, why would you want to be anywhere but here?!?“.
But there are so many other ways this question could be interpreted.
Are you in a career where you want to be?
Are you at a place in the country…or even the world….where you want to be?
Are you at a place in your life where you want to be?
If not….why not?
What’s holding you back?
What do you need to do to overcome whatever is holding you back?
What do you need to do to get there?
What shift/change do you need to make in yourself?
What risk do you need to take?
Who might be able to help you?
Are you willing to make the effort?
I can say that, right now, at this moment in my life, I am quite happy where I am….so currently, there is nowhere else I’d rather be.
And that feels good.
Could change…..might not…..life’s like that.
