Kirk’s and my definition of “My hair is too long and needs to be trimmed” differs vastly.

I can easily go a year without a cut, he lasts about a month at best.

I’d say “Lucky for him that he lives with a former hairdresser” except it is often the case of the cobbler’s children going shoeless
