I have quite collection of Lensbaby lenses and optics for the optic swap system, but I haven’t been using them in recent years. When I was down in Portland before Christmas I picked up two more optics and promised myself that I’d get back to using the system again.
They take a lot of work and there are way more awful shots than good ones. They are fully manual, don’t speak to the camera in any way, and are designed to give less than predictable results. They are fun to play with though, and they challenge one to be more creative because the intent is anything but perfect images.
They often provide a softness that can be interesting to work with.
Nothing fabulous today, but a couple that I didn’t mind.
