I had a meeting to attend at the Pacific Biological Station, that was supposed to be twice as long, and in person.
Then it was cancelled.
Then it was back on, but half as long.
And then it was virtual…but I’d already booked the plane tickets and made commitments to see four people while there….so I went over anyway.
And I’m glad I did, because I got time to spend with some great people, have some great discussions, meet a few people in “real life” finally, and just basically get some important ‘face-time’.
And I get to make the trip back to the Island again…the slow way, tomorrow.
Different meeting, different location, different mode of transportation.
Leaving…on a float plane…don’t know when I’ll be back again….(5:35pm…so yeah, wrong type of plane and yes I do know when I’ll be back…)
