Reflecting

by The Philosophical Fish

Yes, another on-black reflective image.

It’s been a long week…..and I’ve been engaged in a lot of personal reflections during it….and the sheet of black plastic is still laying around making it an easy out to play with it again.

We spent a lot of time judging others, and far too little time reflecting on ourselves.

To be fair, there are some that spend too much time reflecting on themselves, either narcissistically or masochistically.

We need to reflect on what we want, what we need, what we can tolerate, and where the intersections of those lie.

We also need to reflect on what others need, what they want, and what they can tolerate…..and try to determine if the intersections overlap with our own.

Then you have to figure out how to put those things together and into focus and figure out how to get yourself unstuck from whatever is has you stuck, and get rolling in a positive direction again.

Then again, maybe this is all just about a silly toy on a piece of black plastic on my kitchen counter and a need for another photo to finish up the last of the 366 photos in my 365 challenge.

Twenty-one more days.

Twenty-one more photos.

Friggin’ 2020 leap year.

I’m tired of everything.
