It’s December 4th. I looked out my window this afternoon and thought “…that can’t be right…it looks like there is something pink on the viburnum…“
Indeed, there is something pink on the viburnum.
Flower buds, and one or two seemingly slightly confused flowers.
It ‘does’ usually put flowers out in January, but it’s not yet January and the top leaves haven’t even all fallen off the bush yet.
If it does get cold and snowy this coming winter, this poor bush may be in for a bit of a hard kick.
But it is a nice reminder that the seasons change, time grinds on, and that there is a new and better year ahead there yet, somewhere beyond COVID19.
Take heart, even though things are blurry at the moment, like this lensbaby image, this too shall pass and brighter days are in front of us.
