The only luggage I’ll be seeing for the forseeable future is in the puzzle we are working on.
There is no travel on the horizon, even less now that the public heath officer has identified the region next door to the one I live in as the ‘hottest’ spot in the province, and the one I do live in as the second ‘hottest’ in the Province.
We are strongly urged to stay within our zone, and others are strongly recommended to stay out of both of them.
I don’t disagree, but I’m not confident that two weeks is long enough to result in any substantial risk reduction.….
What worries me is that, in the summer, when I was helping on a program, the risk was relatively low as the cases were low, but most people were highly risk conscious. Now people are tired and, in some ways, less well tuned to the risks and slipping in their management…but the case load and overall risk levels have increased exponentially. In other words, we were more hyper-vigilant when it mattered less.
