The last 24 hours have sort of felt like something terrible is looming………and we still wait for the final results as to the fate of our friends to the south of us.
A neighbour does the most incredible Halloween display that people come to see from all corners of the North Shore and beyond. They collect donations to contribute to the Firefighter’s Burn Fund, so it’s also for a good cause.
They have taken it all down…..except for this….
When I walked in to the Village today and when I saw this it just seemed like an appropriate metaphor for the day.
I wonder if that’s why they haven’t taken it down yet.
Either that or the trajectory of COVID cases of late….
