What else needs to be said….we could all use a little more peace in most every aspect of our lives, and yet we have precious little of it around us.
This peace lily was one of the plants I rescued from the office a month into the pandemic. I’d originally asked someone to look after my plants when I left for vacation on March 12th, I hadn’t counted on not being back to the office since. So this, and the other plants, were pretty sad looking by the time I got in to recover them.
But it survived and threw out a flower that opened today. Technically a modified leaf (bract) more than a flower, it’s still interesting and showy.
It’s strange new world we find ourselves in, so today I wish you all peace, happiness, and wellness.
