It’s that time of year again; every tree you walk under has an inch worm hanging in midair from thread that you can’t see. I end up walking into so many of them.
This little guy was working its way across one of the two-by-fours lying in the yard as we were cleaning up after another day of inching our way through our fence building endeavour.
I love watching how their little bodies can squish up and then how they can reach up and hold their entire body up at a 45 degree angle for moments. When I first put the camera down to get a photo it was in mid stretch and then just froze.
Flexibility to fold itself in half, and mini abs of steel to hold a 45 degree mid air plank!
