I sort of feel like I should be carrying a stack of printouts that I could hand to people in the grocery store, and the drug store.
It’s not hard.
It’s not rocket science!
An arrow has a pointy end.
The pointy end is the direction something or someone is or should be travelling.
Sometimes an arrow has two pointy ends. In that case, and only in that case, does it indicate that direction travelled may be either way.
In most stores right now, there are arrows on the floors. The arrows indicate which way a particular aisle is intended to flow.
There is a reason for these arrows and the directional travel in a grocery store.
It’s because we are in the middle of a freaking pandemic and we are trying to minimize interaction between people not living in the same household.
The risk is really low right now, so I’m comfortable going into grocery stores to pick up things we need. But the risk is low because we have changed our habits and behaviours to lower it and keep it low.
So no, I don’t care that you just need to get one thing down this aisle and are therefore intentionally ignoring the arrow because you are too lazy to circle up the next aisle and double back.
It’s not about you!!!! Don’t make it all about you!!!
Frig’
I’m so sick of navel-gazing people right now.
I miss normal grocery browsing…..it’s just not fun currently.
Rant over…..
