Honestly, I’m not a flower gardener…but I’m starting to realize how many of the plants in my garden actually do produce flowers…. particularly since I am feeling a bit restricted and uninspired in things to point my camera at.
This is the teeny tiny flower of the Bessia plant. I have number of these plants (not for the flowers), because they are evergreen and have lovely glossy leaves and are relativley well behaved in the garden.
As a general rule I don’t really care much about flowers, I garden for shades of green, for texture, and for movement. A few plants have flowers I really dislike and I do sometimes consider just snipping them off because I find them distracting.
But I’ll also admit that there are some I do like. Like these tiny little fuzzy looking flowers, no bigger than my baby fingernail, if for no other reason than they are actually rather interesting when viewed up close and personal.
