Yesterday we went for a drive to the seashore to check out the surf, today we decided to stick closer to home and go for a drive by the lake (pond) 🙂
I’m playing catchup still…and slowly winning the battle. But, because I’m still far behind on things I need to get done. I said I would be kinder to myself doing this 365, and I’m glad I made that personal promise, because obvious circumstances, beyond the load I am trying to unload, make it hard to be inspired.
I am also going to give myself another get-out-of-jail-free-card by letting myself, on occasion, post a photo that I took another day but might have processed on the given day, or which just wasn’t really suitable for the day it was taken.
Obviously I’m saying that because I have such a photo and I am trying to figure out what to do with it.
Until then…out comes the silly thing that came in yesterday’s mail, again, and a quick jaunt out to the yard is going to be “enough” for today.
Because it’s all I have in me at the moment. And I still think the silly little red toy car is kind of cute, and it makes me smile, and that is reason enough to take a picture of it.
Besides, it got me outside and showed me, yet again, that the garden is going bonkers and exploding with growth.
