Even More Spring Things

The world may be on pause, but the garden is not.

The flowering quince, another of my personal favourites, is starting to bust open into its hot pink splendour. I know these plants can become large bushes and be even more spectacular, but I keep mine heavily pruned into a low and in a more Japanese form, encouraging it to wrap itself around a large boulder under the dining room window.

Its fantastically bright coral-pink can’t help but catch the eye.

Today needed some beauty.
