Seemed like an adequate image to suit the day. I imagine a lot of people around the world feel this way. To be fair, at the moment my version is, or was until the State of Emergency was put in place the other day, largely voluntary on the return of he-who-could-be-exposed.
Six days down, eight more to go….but all bets are off as to what things will be like in eight days. Looking at where we are on the scale compared to where China and Italy are tells me that we are just in the upswing of things, so I’m not unhappy being isolated at home. Things could be so very much worse.
It’s not all bad though, I am slowly but surely plowing through the marking and then I get to learn how to set up an online examination with video and audio recording to try to put up roadblocks to a repeat of the online cheating fiasco I endured a couple of years ago.
If I can get through that in the next few days I might even get some time to read a book in the days remaining of my vacation time before I have to log back into the DFO system and see what’s waiting there for me 🙂

It’s only for now…by doing our part we may beat this thing yet. So, yes we all feel this way but doing what is right now can save many lives

[https://www.flickr.com/photos/sue90ca] Absolutely. I’ve been isolated for a week now since my other half was travelling and came home Friday. I’m also an introvert…so having to stay home is no hardship 😉
But I’m irritated at the irresponsibility of those still out partying and hanging out on the beaches during spring break. What are they going to take home and how much damage will it do?
Stay safe Sue!
