Another sunny day and a short walk around the garden to see what was coming up. Things are moving quickly now that the sun has some warmth to it.
This is not actually a pussy willow, it’s my Star Magnolia, but it’s getting itself ready to put on its spring show 🙂
Not much else to report. Kirk spent much of the day cleaning the inside of the windows and I spent much of the day pulling everything out of every kitchen drawer and scouring things, front and back, inside and out. Even though we were inside, the doors we ajar and the fresh spring air felt good.
There is something therapeutic and uplifting about cleaning the house bit by bit in a very thorough manner, and the end result is always rewarding.

Happy Sunday!
I had a discussion about this vs a real pussy willow with an old man in Stanley Park on Thursday. We both agreed this wasn’t the real ones from his childhood.

[https://www.flickr.com/photos/janisbrass] I tend to call anything that is fuzzy and bud shaped a pussy willow. I know it’s wrong, but….
[https://www.flickr.com/photos/24395354@N02/] I do too, but that gentleman was forcing me to be specific!
