On a quick after work circuit of the garden (which is badly in need of some attention), I discovered quite a few things ready to burst into bloom.
The paperbush (Edgeworthia chrysantha) has had flower buds on it for a month or more, and it’s finally starting to open its tiny little tubular flowers.
Its pretty white splash will soon be a blend of white and salmon-orange near the back of the garden.
Spring is almost here, and it’s a sight for bleary wet-weather weary eyes 🙂
