When you look at toothpicks up close, they really do look like little tiny wooden stakes 🙂

(Having watched Dracula last night probably helps a little bit)

The toothpick holder is something my Granny made for my Grandad’s toothpicks…many, many, many years ago. I don’t know why I took it when we were cleaning out the house, but I did, and it’s still used for its intended purpose all these many years later.
