Sometimes you have to make yourself wake up and remember that this is (literally) just up the road from where you live.
Well, to be fair, drive up the road, park, put on the snowshoes, snowshoe winding trails through the forest for an hour and a half, and then clamber almost straight up a slippery snowy slope….and “then” it’s just right there.
And then you just need to climb and take in the breathtaking views of the place you call home.
I really do love living on the North Shore.
