I haven’t been writing or posting, I’ve hardly been lifting my camera.
I’ve lost my two babies, my feline companions, both in just three short months. It has been a devastating period and my heart feels shattered into a million tiny fragments. They aren’t at the door to greet us. They aren’t warming our bed or helping us sleep with comforting purrs. The house feels empty without their huge combined, or singular, presences.
It would be easy to just quit the challenge of the 118 Photos in 2018, but I have fallen back and pulled a few photos from earlier months that fit some of the challenges, so I may yet finish. I am certainly not going to go back and post each and write about them individually, I don’t have that in me right now.
So here is a catchup compilation.

Ha Ha! [https://www.flickr.com/photos/osborn] , this is the most terrifying roller coaster I’ve ever been on, and I love roller coasters. I stood on my tip toes to meet the height requirement to go on it when I was bout ten years old, and thought I was going to fly out of it! Them when Kirk and I moved to Vancouver I told him that story and said "Let’s go rise it". When we got off, I said, "It’s still as terrifying as when I was ten!!"
[https://www.flickr.com/photos/freedom-to-move] I am glad I held the coats.

I am so sorry Paige. Having lost several beloved dogs over the years I understand a little the devastating grief you are feeling right now. Take care.
I am so sorry Paige. It is really hard to lose two in such a short time.
Oh dear, so sorry for you. Cats have a way of winkling themselves into the heart. Such a beautifully coloured cat too.

They are indeed magnificent animals, terrifying too, if you are in close proximity. Great capture.
