Canada had a birthday this past weekend. It’s been 150 years since confederation formed this vast land under the label of a single country. As far as countries go, ours is young, or not, depending on how you view it. From the perspective of the First Nations, we are interlopers and this land is much older.
Be that as it may, and despite some of the horrors that occurred to shape this country into what it is today, I think it’s a pretty great place to live. Canada offers much for many.
And Canada Day ended with a splash of light to mark the occasion.
