August 7, 2016 – One of the benefits of living near the seashore, and travelling along the ocean a great deal, is that you collect the prettiest little examples of evolutionary adaptation along the way. Most of these came from Vancouver Island, many from Brady’s Beach and Pachena Bay.
Memories in each little swirl and curve.
When I moved to the coast I knew it was forever, the salt in the sea called to the salt in my blood.
I had to be close to the ocean, I had to stay.
The coast is home now.
