Day 211 – A Complicated Kindness

July 29, 2016 – Today was my flex day, and the first of ten days off.

Not sure what to do with myself, when I wandered into the office where Kirk was working, he suggested I grab a book and go outside to read.

And, since a few weeks ago a coworker had handed me a book she thought I’d like to read, I did. Or at least I read half of it so far.

I also napped in the afternoon warmth, and then read some more, and then napped some more, which is why I didn’t read the entire book. It’s been too long since I read a novel.

What a wonderful suggestion.

I may try it again tomorrow.

Kirk is such a smart guy 🙂
