Day 205 – Taking shelter

July 23, 2016 – On a hot and sunny day I can usually be found hanging out in the shade. I’m not sure how I was ever a sun worshiper, but when I was young I most definitely was.

These days this pale skin of mine is kept safely away from the rays that will quickly turn me a delightful shade of lobster.

So when we stopped for brunch at Kypriaki’s Taverna in the heat of the day, it was definitely on the patio, but equally definitely under a shading umbrella.
