July 17, 2015 – Well, everything is still an experiment in what will or will not grow in the garden. This was a first stab at growing garlic, and the fact that anything grew is an achievement.
This was the first dig, and although they are small, they sure smell delicious!
Hanging in the garage now to cure, can’t wait to taste them soon 🙂

I tried growing garlic in TB…I didn’t have any luck.
Do you know which varieties produced for you? And, if you really want to, there is nothing wrong with eating a bulb now. The curing is mainly for storage purposes.
I only pulled up a couple as it was starting to rain, have to go back and look at the tag. They were all (except one) very small. I think my soil may be a bit too heavy. They do smell wonderful and I know they will taste amazing, just letting them dry a bit before we use them, and I’ll see what the rest look like (and which they were) another day this week.
Well composed and processed.

So good! Looks like garlic is a go for future plantings?
