November 9, 2015 – On the drive home this evening I could see that it was going to be a beautiful sunset, so I asked Kirk to take a detour down to Ambleside instead of heading home up the hill.
After a day with random bits of frustration sprinkled throughout, the side trip for a relaxing visit to the beach on an evening with a spectacular sunset was a welcome and peaceful distraction.
I do so love this place we call home! I’ve yet to visit a more beautiful place, and it always makes coming home easy for that very reason.
