August 10, 2015 – I hate spiders!
And this year, for whatever reason, they seem to be everywhere far earlier than normal. They normally show up in droves come fall, but they are EVERYWHERE right now. This does not please me….
They seem to build their webs with lightning speed and across wide open spaces where I wouldn’t expect to walk into them. I really don’t usually expect to walk into a spider hanging in mid air in the centre of the courtyard. Yesterday I was watering the garden and I lost count of how many webs I walked into, almost walked into, or noticed were right in front of my nose when I suddenly refocussed.
I started walking around waving a stick in front of myself eventually, that must have looked interesting from the street.
This particular monster was spread across a path I walked down today, so I defended myself with my iPhone 🙂
I really hate spiders….
