July 3, 2015 – We tossed our bikes in the back of the truck and took our guests up to Whistler for the day. We rented bikes for them and explored some of the easy trails along around the valley floor. But wow, was it hot, 35C, quite the day to pick for a bicycle ride! Hills seemed monstrously large and long in that heat, and the forested trails were a welcome respite. We only rode about 14km, but it felt like many more with the sweltering temperature.
But if it felt hot on the trails, it seemed like a blast furnace back in the Village!
Green Lake seemed particularly welcome and these people had the right idea….
I say it too often, but wow do we live in a beautiful place.
(Still a day behind in processing and posting…..)

I was debating on whether to visit Whistler and ride the Sea to Sky Hwy but now I think that I do…
Such a beautiful highway, we do it regularly just for lunch or to grab a coffee. So scenic. 🙂
