June 26, 2015 – A basket of Hens & Chicks gifted to me by a friend when she came for Easter dinner. I love these little succulents, they grow just about anywhere and are extremely forgiving plants. The little square planter these are in is filled to overflowing is just fabulous!
I feel like a slug given the warmth…and it’s only going to get worse in the coming days. I shouldn’t complain too terribly much though, they are predicting 40C inland, but when we hit 30 here it’s just so unbearable.
Feast or famine. Here in Vancouver it’s either too hot, too cold, too wet, or too dry. Take your pick. We are Canadian, and like most other Canadians, the weather is always conversation sport.
Given that I have no energy, it was a toss-up. I only got two shots that I liked, below was the other. This is my Granny’s old watering can. I also have my Grandma’s. I used them both as a child, and now they are in my garden where I use them to water my own plants all these years later.
