May 22, 2015 – It’s that time of year again…the time of year when the Friday evening North Vancouver Shipyards Night Market is back in action until Fall.
The night market is filled with arts and crafts, produce, handmade clothing, a beer garden, a new live band every week….but most importantly….the best food trucks from all over the Lower Mainland.
Whatever taste you fancy, you will find it. Greek, Caribbean, Thai, Indian, and many fusions that cover all points in between. Lemonade, shave ice, popcorn, chocolate, cakes and cookies.
It’s a great place to visit on a Friday night and taste something new while enjoying great music and enjoying the view across the water towards downtown Vancouver.
These cranes are old, but they are still in use in the working shipyards next door.

I checked it out last week…amazed at the diversity of food trucks! Silly me didn’t have enough money so need to go and try again
We went most weeks last year, it’s a nice ease into the weekend, a change from cooking dinner at home, and cheaper than a restaurant or the pub. Win-win-win!
