April 29, 2015 – Here’s a jarring thought……(assuming I did my math correctly…and that’s never a given) it would take 22,222 of these 3.25″ HD floppy discs to fill that little SD card.

And that little SD card can see a data transfer rate to it of 21 of those floppy discs per second, assuming you could get them in and out of a drive that fast.

My how things change……

I totally agree, and I bet if I’d dug around a bit at the office I’d have found a few. But I was out of time. If I find any I’ll re-do the shot though 🙂

That’s more than the first computer we had…it didn’t have any storage….no hard drive at all….just a cassette for a backup and great big floppies for storage.
