April 14, 2015 – A shot out of desperation given the crazy day at work followed by a dash home and then two and a half hours of teaching a marine VHF radio class for my volunteer group.
Now I’m just tired and worn out.
I imagine my students are too since I throw a ton of information at them very quickly, it’s an intense night of information.
But the photo reminds me of a song that a student in a fish health class I teach every so often, wrote for/about my class, several years ago. He lives up north and has been featured on CBC radio. I was thrilled when he gave me the words on paper. I was astonished when he recorded it and sent it to me.
It always makes me smile and gives me a great laugh. He thought I might be insulted…never, I know that I’m an intense instructor when I’m trying to get a ton of material across in a relatively short period of time.
Thought I’d share it. Click play to enjoy.
