April 8, 2015 – Do you have any specific plants that leave you feeling thrilled when they appear?

For me it’s always seeing these wonderful little Pleione orchids rise out of the soil and spread their happy faces to the sunlight.

All winter long I look at the pot outside and wonder….

Are they too wet?

Will they rot?

Are they too cold?

Are they too dry?

Will a creature get into them and eat the bulbs?

Will they come up again?

Will I ever see those fabulous flowers again?

So happy to see them stretch their necks to the sun for another season 🙂
