January 14, 2015 – Vancouver has the rainy season, and the not so rainy season. Lately the not so rainy season has been downright dry, so that’s been both a pleasant and a not-so-good-for-the-fish thing.
But Vancouver also has the fog season, and I love this relatively short and transient time of year when we get temperature inversions that see the sea fog slipping in and out of the harbour and cloaking the city, sometimes for days on end.
I took a few minutes and went up to the 16th floor of my office building, where there is an outside patio, and fired off a few shots in the hopes of something decent.
Didn’t get much that I liked, but I have a meeting tonight and no time for any other setups today.
So this is it.
Vancouver, city of glass, lost in the fog.
