Fallen

Fallen

I took this shot a few weeks ago when we had a short cool snap. I won’t say cold, because I have friends who suffered temperatures of -30C and lower. Since the worst we had was around -5C, I’ll just call it “cool” and leave it at that.

But the frost does do some wonderful things to the plant matter lying around. I love the way it highlights the veins and edges of everything it touches.

Frost. I have always loved it. Cold, chilly, white traced mornings that bring the promise of cold days and blue skies. Frost is something you love to look at but often don’t really want to go out and experience because it’s, well, it’s cold and we live in Lotus-land where most people hate the cold (there are exceptions, present company included).

She’s my Angel, She’s my Lover
She’s my very best friend
I hate her cause I love her
So I hurt her again
Don’t want no other lover
Won’t go through it again
She’s my Angel She’s my lover
She’s my very best friend
