(329/366) Coming Unraveled

November 24, 2012 – I found this ball of twine in Mom’s kitchen drawer. How can something as simple as a ball of twine carry memories wound up inside? Mom used to wrap parcels in brown paper, and then tie them with twine. She could wrap a parcel in such a wonderfully traditional manner, I always loved receiving packages she’d sent. You knew there was a loving touch behind the process.
